Legeance is designed for families who want to preserve and protect the family wealth over several generations. The long-term is leading for the support we provide. Good communication between generations is essential in order to preserve the family wealth. Legeance can provide an advantage by creating optimal communication between family members, thus promoting harmony within the family.
Pieter Cox (Utrecht, 1964) is a partner at Legeance. He has a university degree (LL.M.) in tax law at the University of Amsterdam.
Living his highschool years at boardingschool “De Breul” contributed significantly to his development to an independent, sincere and trustworthy adviser.
After his military service in the Dutch army, he was demobilized in 1986 as 1st Lieutenant, and was awarded the “The Order for long-term Military Service as an Officer” in 2001.
Prior to Legeance he worked at ABN AMRO Bank, he was a tax manager at Deloitte and Ernst & Young and he was managing director at a number of international trustcompanies. For these positions, he spent a long time abroad, including Aruba, Curacao and Luxembourg.
Pieter is interested in history and enjoys playing hockey and golf. He is married and has three sons.
